Registering an account

Click Register on the Investor Centre homepage

Once you've started registration:

Use a valid personal email address rather than a work one — this helps ensure continued access.  If the email is already registered, you’ll be prompted to log in or use a different email address.

2. Verify you're not a robot

Tick the I’m not a robot checkbox to complete ReCAPTCHA, then click Generate code

3. Check your email for a 6-digit verification code

  • Copy and paste the code into the field provided to avoid typos
  • The email will come from Investor Centre with the subject “Email code confirmation message”
  • If you don’t see it, check your spam or junk folder
  • Note: The code expires after 5 minutes. If it expires, click Resend to receive a new one

4. Complete your registration
After verifying your email, log in to set up your portfolio

  • Enter your full name as it appears on your government-issued ID
  • Create a password
  • Agree to the Terms & Conditions, then click Register

Setting up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

The first time you log in to Investor Centre, you’ll be prompted to set up Multi-Factor Authentication to keep your account secure.

  • Choose one of the three MFA options:
Phone (SMS-based), Okta Verify, Google Authenticator
  • For Okta Verify or Google Authenticator, download the respective mobile app to your phone
  • Once you've completed the setup for your chosen method, click Continue to access Investor Centre — or choose to set up an additional method

Top tip:
We strongly recommend setting up more than one MFA method. That way, if you ever lose access to one (e.g. your mobile phone), you’ll still be able to log in using a backup method — ensuring uninterrupted access to your account.

Open the app, then select the country where your assets are held to proceed with the registration process.

To begin, tap Register your portfolio to initiate your registration.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a security feature that requires you to verify your identify using two or more types of authentication factors. These can include:

  • Something you know (e.g., a password)
  • Something you have (e.g., a mobile device)
  • Something you are (e.g., fingerprint)

MFA significantly reduces the risk of unauthorised access to your account by adding extra layers of protection. At MUFG Corporate Markets, we’re committed to keeping our data secure while ensuring our platforms remain accessible to all users.

When logging in, you’ll need more than just your username and password. You’ll be prompted to authenticate using your mobile phone (SMS), Google Authenticator, or Okta Verify.

To review and manage your shares in Investor Centre, you will first need to add your holding.
When you first register, you’ll automatically be taken to the Add holding page to link your first holding.

To add additional holdings later, go to your Portfolio and select Add holding.

To add a holding:

  1. Start typing your company or issuer’s name in the search box and select it from the dropdown list.
  2. Enter your Investor Code (IVC) – this is an 11-digit number found on your share certificate, statement, or invitation letter.
  3. Provide other details to verify your identity, such as your postcode and last name.
o    Note: If you are based outside the UK, you may be asked to enter your full name instead of a postcode.
  4. Follow the on-screen steps to confirm and complete the process.
If all details match, your holding will appear in your portfolio.

IVC stands for Investor Code (sometimes called a Shareholder Reference Number). This is an 11-digit number, usually starting with a 0. You can find it on share certificates, shareholder invitations, or account statements issued by us.

Important: your IVC uniquely identifies you as the owner of your securities. Please keep it safe and do not share it with others.

There are a few common reasons why you might be unable to create an account:

1. Email already registered

If you’re unable to complete registration and receive an email asking you to check your inbox for next steps, please follow the instructions in that email.

The message will include a link to log in if you already have an account.
If you’re unable to log in or don’t remember your password, select Forgot Password to reset it.

2. Invalid email address

Check that your email is typed correctly and follows a standard format (e.g., name@example.com). Typos or missing characters can cause errors.

3. Weak or invalid password

Investor Centre requires passwords to meet specific criteria to ensure that your account is secure. Please refer to the screen where you set your password for detailed information.

4. Email verification code issues

When you enter a verification code sent to your email, make sure:

You’ve entered a code exactly as shown (check for typos or spaces)

You enter it within 5 minutes – codes expire after that time. If it’s expired, request a new one

If you’ve checked all of the above and still need help, please contact us and our support team will assist you.

No. Corporate holders cannot currently use Investor Centre. If you are a corporate holder, please contact our Customer Service team directly for assistance.
